CTA ( CT Angiography)
Computed tomography (CT) angiography is medically called noninvasive or nontraumatic angiography. This imaging modality presents a three-dimensional display of the vasculature after intravenous injection of iodine-containing contrast agent. CT angiography can replace part of the DSA examination and has the capacity to clearly show the cerebral artery loop, or the Willis ring, the anterior, middle and posterior cerebral arteries and their main branches, thereby providing an important diagnostic basis for occlusive vascular disease. With this tool, the diagnosis of ischemic cerebrovascular disease can be advanced to two hours after onset.
